The divine spot where Brahma's head was decapitated due to his massive pride. Hence Lord Siva here got the name Sri Brahma Sirakandeeswarar. At the near vicinity is the Vishnu temple where Siva's Brahmahaththi dosham was relieved. There is a shrine for Brahma too. Lord Vishnu's name here is Sri Harashaapa Vimochana perumal. In a Siva temple, Brahma and Saraswathi have separate shrines which is a specialty.
We can have darshan of the Trinity Gods if we visit this temple at Kandiyur(near Thanjavur). Negative qualities like pride & ego would be removed from our minds and life would become meaningful & happy!
